About Us

Nine Line Apparel was co-founded in 2012 by two brothers and US Army Veterans; CPT Tyler Merritt, CPT Daniel Merritt and Myles Burke. Their vision was simple, to create a high quality clothing brand to be enjoyed by Patriotic Americans around the globe. In the past few years, their brand has grown exponentially and they have decided to give back to the community they once served thus forming the Nine Line Foundation. Nine Line represents the grit and commitment of all Patriotic Americans. The term itself is iconic within the Armed Forces to represent a distress call to aid service members wounded in battle. The Nine Line brand has a similar call to action. Founded on the principles similar to other value based organizations, Nine Line aims to promote the issues faced by all those who have served their country. Nine Line encourages a conversation between those who serve and those who support them by creating a lifestyle brand that brings the two communities together. Nine Line is committed to creating Jobs here in America. We have made a conscious decision to move away from foreign made materials wherever possible. In 2017, Nine Line opened a 60,000 sqft facility in Savannah, GA. Although remaining profitable is the tenant of all successful business, we have innovative ways to ensure this occurs while returning manufacturing to the US. We are perfecting our skills in the apparel industry and are always looking to expand to other markets.

History of 22KILL
In 2012, the Veterans’ Administration (VA) released a Suicide Data Report that found an average of 22 veterans die by suicide everyday. The 22KILL initiative started in 2013, at first just as a social media movement to raise awareness, and later became an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in July of 2015.

In 2016, as our push-up initiative (later known as the #22pushupchallenge) swept social media, 22KILL began its transformation from awareness to suicide prevention. By the end of that year, the viral campaign, and the fundraising that accompanied it, allowed us to donate over half a million dollars to sponsor other veteran service organizations.

In 2017, 22KILL began to acquire and develop traditional and non-traditional mental wellness programs, and now offers a myriad of services through Stay The Course, Tribal Council, Forge, Wind Therapy, WATCH, and White Star Families.

Our Purpose
Restore the value of life by empowering veterans, first responders, and their families

Prevention begins with awareness. This means educating ourselves and the general public, opening up the conversation, and learning to become comfortable with the uncomfortability and fear of being vulnerable. By doing this, we can identify the often avoided or unaddressed issues that can lead someone to thoughts of suicide, and confront those issues as they come, rather than letting them accumulate into something much worse.

The next step is empowerment. One of the biggest challenges veterans and first responders face is finding a sense of purpose after service. 22KILL has built a vast network of organizations and resources across the country, and whether through its own programs, or through external sources, veterans, first responders, and family members can find services for mental wellness and empowerment programs to help them find or rediscover that sense of purpose. The other side of this is engagement. Often times one may come to realize that all they really needed was the brotherhood and camaraderie that may have been absent from their lives since leaving service. The 22KILL “Tribe” allows service members to connect with like-minded individuals and gives them the opportunity to get involved with community events and projects, and be a part of something great.

Americans support our Troops serving in times of war in many ways. Writing letters mailing care packages welcome home events or by showing support for a deployed service member or Veterans family. OCC provides support and comfort to adopted units of deployed military service members serving in Iraq Afghanistan and other conflict regions. Working within communities and through donations received from all over the country OCC assembles and ships care packages to adopted units every month until they return home. They currently support up to 200 units monthly.

OSDTN focuses on helping all Veterans and their families by engaging, equipping, and empowering them. We offer a wide range of services, including employment assistance, VA benefits assistance, networking, housing, and much more.

Through their Active Duty “Wish-list” program, they work with military units, from squads to companies to battalions, and provide “wish list” items specifically requested by the troops in the field. These “wish list” items are intended to help ease the burden of deployment and are presented to the troops as symbols of our appreciation, support and encouragement.

Their goal is to show their gratitude by sending care packages every month to members of the military who are assigned overseas. Their care packages help boost morale and bring joy at a time when troops are away from their family and loved ones.

Paralyzed Veterans of America has been a leading advocate for quality health care, spinal cord research, VA benefits and civil rights for veterans and all people with disabilities.

Mission Roll Call is a movement to give every single veteran a voice in policy and advocacy on the issues that are important to them. A community where veterans, their spouses, families, and caregivers can share their stories, concerns, hopes, wins and voice their issues.

The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence.

Once the perfect pet is selected for the veteran, he then spends time in the home of our trainer who teaches him basic manners and other valuable behaviors needed to live with his new owner.

In accomplishing this mission, we do not want to create an additional burden on the veteran; with each dog/veteran match we provide all of the necessary equipment for them to start their new life together. REBOOT Workshops are designed to meet an acute need for robust military to civilian transition program and close the gap. By addressing transition issues at their root cause, NVTSI and its network of partners helps transitioning service members, veterans and spouses successfully transitioning from the military-to-civilian world through a three phased, 15-day intensive workshop that empowers them with resiliency and self-sufficiency.

The Recon & Sniper Foundation provides veterans with the resources and supporting infrastructure they need to make a meaningful transition back to civilian life. Team RSF has an active network of over 1,000 Recon Marines, Marine Raiders, and Scout Snipers that applicants can lean on to rekindle the brotherhood they left after service.

We’re a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. Our organization has grown steadily over time, and we’re working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people.

The Special Forces Association is a non-profit 501(c)(19) Veteran Service Organization with over 9,700 active members and 85 Chapters located throughout the United States and eight Countries around the world. One of the primary missions is to promote and support the general welfare of the Special Forces community, which is accomplished through three funds: The Emergency Relief Fund that provides immediate financial assistance to eligible members, their spouses, children, and grand-children in times of natural and unexpected disasters, the Scholarship Fund, an annual education assistance program providing education scholarships based on merit to children and grand-children of SFA members; and The Patriot Fund. established in 2007, provides support and assistance to the JFK Special Warfare Center and School, The Special Forces Command, and seven Special Forces Groups and Their families primarily through the Family Readiness Groups and the US Special Operations Command Care Coalition.
