Such services are food, shelter, clothing, referrals for training in vocational, educational and job placement goals, community service referrals, individual and group counseling and other such services and facilities designed to meet their physical, social and psychological needs and to promote their health, security, happiness and usefulness in society.

Our Approach
Mental wounds are just as difficult to heal as physical wounds – and treating them is just as important. Through our national network of Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics, veterans and their families are eligible for personalized, evidence-based mental health care along with access to comprehensive case management support and referrals to deal with other stresses like unemployment, finances, housing, and legal issues. Our skilled staff has experience working with our nation’s diverse population of veterans, military members and their families.

We offer targeted, client-centered therapy for a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, adjustment issues, anger, grief and loss, family issues, transition challenges, relationship problems, and children’s behavioral problems. Confidential
We will not share your confidential information with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or other public, private, or government entities unless required by law. We comply with federal guidelines set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Genuine
Our skilled clinicians and staff have been trained to work specifically with veterans and their families, and some are veterans themselves. We build the trusting and confidential relationships necessary to provide excellent, personalized care.
More than Mental Health

| Operation FINALLY HOME was established in 2005 as a nonpartisan/nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and has already had a significant impact across the country. To date, they have over 250 home projects completed or in planning in 33 states providing custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s military heroes and the widows of the fallen, those who have worn America’s uniform and sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and values. Transition to Trades
is an approved Career Skills Program (CSP) developed by Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical and U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Campbell. Transition to Trades, launched on July 5, 2016, allows transitioning service members the opportunity to attend Total Tech trade school (a subsidiary of Hiller, LLC) to learn valuable technical career skills while remaining active duty in the U.S. Military.
Total Tech offers a unique approach to technician training through classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction in a 15,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility. As part of the program, students are guaranteed an employment interview at a Hiller branch location of their choosing. Service members desiring to return to their hometowns are provided key industry contact information to aid in employment searches in those respective areas.
Our Mission
To provide active duty service members with solid, well-paying, respected career placement options as they transition out of the Army. Careers in Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical are an ideal fit for transitioning service members because of transferable skills developed during their military service. Our goal is to pair these top-tier service members with companies looking to train and employ hardworking individuals for long-term careers.
The Transition to Trades program allows service members to utilize Post 9/11 or Forever GI Bills and start work within weeks, learning from experienced technicians in the field and in state-of-the-art laboratories. We also provide a business network of contractors in the industry who are looking to hire and develop talent in veterans. Transition to Trades is here to help veterans that are transitioning from active duty succeed in their careers.

OUR PASSION
The Heartbeat of Waypoint’s Mission is to Honor our Fallen by Living, and by taking back our Health and Happiness together. On each of our Adventures, Veterans carry customized dog tags engraved with names of those we’ve lost both in war and to the war within.
MEANING AND INTENT
A Waypoint is where troops come together to reset, refuel, and recharge; enabling them to continue and complete their mission successfully. That is exactly what we want our outings to deliver by providing camaraderie, adventure, physical challenges, mental empowerment, and lasting clarity.
