Job Title: Truck Driver CDL Class A
Location: Pioneer, Ohio
Job Type: Full Time 1099 Contractor
Summary:
King Global Enterprise Solutions is supporting Brothers in Arms Logistics with drivers. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver with a CDL Class A license to join Brothers in Arms logistics. As a Driver for B.I.AL, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations within a 100-400 mile radius from Pioneer, Ohio. The majority of the runs will involve drop and hook operations, with minimal touch required (approximately 90% no touch). You will primarily handle preloaded dry van and flatbed trailers, with flatbeds requiring unstrapping and un-tarping. The position offers two shifts: 7am-5pm and 5pm-7am, ensuring a flexible work schedule. Compensation is performance-based, with an initial weekly pay of $750, increasing to $1000 after meeting performance benchmarks. Benefits will be provided after six months of employment, and the position is W2.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) with a CDL Class A license.
  • Transport goods from Pioneer, Ohio to designated locations within a 100-400 mile radius.
  • Conduct drop and hook operations for the majority of runs.
  • Handle preloaded dry van and flatbed trailers.
  • Unstrap and un-tarp flatbed trailers as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding load status and any issues that arise during transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and compliance of the vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) with no major violations or accidents.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Truck Driver with a CDL Class A license.
  • Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to operate CMVs in a variety of road and weather conditions.
  • Ability to handle drop and hook operations efficiently.
  • Experience with dry van and flatbed trailers, including unstrapping and un-tarping.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with dispatchers and team members.
  • Flexibility to work either the 7am-5pm or 5pm-7am shift.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering goods on time and in a safe manner.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy loads as necessary.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
