The Freedom Foundation provides numerous programs and services to our Veterans.These programs and services includes a Food Pantry, administration of a Employment Placement Program entitled “Ready To Serve”, the operation of the “Veterans Temporary Housing/Shelter Program” for our homeless and displaced Veterans, a Veterans Emergency Financial Assistance Fund and our hosting of a free weekly Thursday luncheon, serving our Veterans a well deserved “home cooked meal”.
Home Base Iowa connects Iowa businesses with qualified veterans and their spouses looking for career opportunities. The program also provides resources to help connect veterans and their families with education and in transitioning to a new community.
Iowa Military Veterans Band’s mission is to support Iowa military veterans, their organizations, the state of Iowa and to honor national holidays.
The Iowa Veterans Foundation is devoted to helping veteran organizations, veterans and their dependents. The Iowa Veterans Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) in 1995 and was modified in 2014 to encompass a wider range of goals and the needs of veterans and their families in the State of Iowa.
The QCVN delivers a networking event series that meets monthly to connect transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses to employers, mentors, and other resource providers in the Quad Cities area.
