Description
Overview
The Sr Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting compensation administration and implementation for the organization's various compensation programs. This includes areas related to compensation requirements, including position descriptions and evaluations, salary administration, conducting compensation analyses and administration of Incentive Compensation plans. This position will assist with implementation of compensation programs, helping translate strategy into results.
Responsibilities
• Support in the development, administration and communication of compensation programs including salary administration, annual salary increases, incentive programs and job leveling.
• Manage all 3rd party compensation survey participation.
• Evaluate current staff grade, geographic and salary structure for improvements.
• Perform job evaluations utilizing third-party market data.
• Responsible for advising HR Business Partners regarding compensation policy interpretation, market analyst, job evaluation and other compensation projects and initiatives.
• Partner with managers to draft job descriptions by providing tools and information needed to develop sound documents. Reviews job descriptions submitted for evaluation. Assigns pay grades and ranges to new or revised jobs.
• Review and evaluate job descriptions to ensure compliance with FLSA and state requirements for exemption and overtime.
• Provide support on compensation analytical needs including data audits, incentive accruals and pay equity.
• Administer the annual compensation planning process.
• Support short-term and long-term incentive administration in accordance with plan documents.
• Deliver training to managers to promote understanding and communication of compensation programs supporting pay transparency.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor's degree - Human Resources or other related field.
Preferred:

Minimum Experience
Required:
• 3+ years of compensation experience.
Preferred:
• 5+ years of compensation experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modeling).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work successfully in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Licenses and Certifications

• CCP Certification a plus
