SOSi is currently seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Quality Test Analyst to join our team in Charleston, SC. The PeopleSoft Quality Test Analyst position provides functional and technical direction for our customer’s PeopleSoft 9.2 Federal Payroll/HR/Benefits program.  Responsibilities include requirements, fit gap analysis, design, testing and support related activities

Responsibilities

  • Design and Execute test plans related to the PeopleSoft HCM application.
  • Record and document test results including regression and scenario testing.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards
  • Work closely with the Requirements, Development and IV&V Teams so identified defects can be corrected within a timely manner.
  • Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and demonstrate strong dedication to quality and communication throughout the testing process
  • Research questions involving functionality of PeopleSoft.
  • Provide Production Support and work with business and technical teams to identify and resolve defects while following a structured issue resolution methodology.
  • Communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management

Qualifications

  • Active U.S Government Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field. Experience may substitute for Degree.
  • Seven years of experience with PeopleSoft Release 9.2 Payroll/HR/Benefits.
  • Requires knowledge of PeopleTools including SQR, App Designer, BI Publisher, PeopleCode and Application Engine
  • Requires knowledge of SQL Developer and Query.
  • Experience with the analysis and implementation of Oracle PUMs and Tax updates
  • Functional and Technical understanding of key processes in PeopleSoft Payroll/HR/Benefits and Accounting.
  • Experience with Federal Payroll and HR is desired.
  • Experience with PHIRE migrations and other CM processes is desired.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Experience with Federal government payroll.
  • Local to Charleston, SC.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
