Responsibilities
The Operations Support Specialist II (OSS) provides direct patient care support under the supervision of a licensed PT/OT or PTA/COTA (as allowable per state statutes), as well as prioritized administrative support to ensure seamless clinic workflow and operations.
Within the clinic, this role enables licensed clinical staff to focus on patient care and treatment; thereby improving their efficiency and productivity.
The role is optimized across the district, providing flexibility for Clinic Operations to mitigate predictable volume fluctuations (e.g. due to seasonality).
Employee's training, education and/or experience enables greater independence with instructing and supervising prescribed clinical exercises and modalities; and provides observational feedback regarding the patient's progress to the prescribing therapist.
Acts as an escalation point for OSS I
Assists with OSS I onboarding support as requested
Able to instruct prescribed exercises with minimal correction/supervision by the clinician team
Provides observations/feedback to the prescribing therapist regarding the patient's performance and progression of the treatment plan.
May perform injury screens (if appropriately licensed)

Required
- Associates Degree in related field or 2 years experience in a military healthcare setting.
