I’m Brandy, a Navy brat, Army Veteran, Army Spouse, and now retired MilSpouse. I’ve made many a cross-country trip across the US and now get to make travel plans to places of my choice and on my timeline.
Like many military spouses, I’ve spent a good chunk of my time raising kids and supporting my spouse throughout his career. Along the way, I took roles at AAFES and then the revamped The Exchange. I’ve worked the sales floor, driven forklifts, and spent a time in receiving.
I also had the fortune to land a role as an Army Career Skills Program Installation Administrator while we were stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA. This is the role where I found my place: helping transitioning service members take advantage of the DoD SkillBridge program to help set themselves up for life after service.
Though my spouse is retired from the Army now, I’m carrying on with the work that is my passion but now helping even more of our military community with veterans and military spouses.
