Matthew Taylor grew up Utah, California, Arizona, and Wyoming and is 2009 graduate of the University of Phoenix with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He has served over 19 years of active federal service with the Utah Army National Guard. Served as a Human Resource Sergeant at company, battalion, and brigade level with most of his assignments being in Engineer and Aviation units. Additional assignments included team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, and crew served weapons trainer. He completed a yearlong deployment to Iraq in 2004-2005 fulfilling roles as convoy and base security in addition to human resource duties. He is the proud husband and father to a loving wife and 7 beautiful children. He was joined in the US Army by 5 younger brothers. Preparing for Transition from military career after reaching 20 years of active service, will be going on transitional leave June 2023 and last day in U.S. Army will be August 31, 2023. Looking for guidance on finding meaningful and purposeful civilian work to meet not only the needs of his family but his desire to assist others. Searching for a role or position that will allow him to continue to help and assist others, specifically veterans and their families and gold star families
