Dr. Huy Doan

Dr. Huy Doan has dedicated his professional life to the healthcare field, guided by a deep commitment to serving others and improving the well-being of his community. His path into healthcare was shaped by personal experience and a profound appreciation for the impact that compassionate, patient-centered care can have on individuals and families.

Dr. Doan’s passion for healthcare began when his mother was diagnosed with several serious medical conditions, including congestive heart failure, osteoporosis, and chronic kidney failure. During those challenging years, the care, compassion, and support provided by healthcare professionals allowed him to spend meaningful and precious time with his mother before her passing in 2009. Witnessing the dedication and humanity of the medical teams who cared for her left a lasting impression on him and inspired him to pursue a career in the healthcare field so that he could help others during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

Motivated by this purpose, Dr. Doan pursued extensive academic training in science, medicine, and healthcare administration. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. He later obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Xavier University School of Medicine in 2008. Recognizing the importance of leadership and effective healthcare management, he continued his education and earned a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in 2009. In 2020, he further strengthened his professional expertise by obtaining certification as a clinical researcher.

Throughout his career, Dr. Doan has served in various roles as a healthcare administrator, where he gained valuable insight into the complexities of the healthcare system and the challenges patients and families often face when navigating medical care. His work has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of patient needs across different populations, including elderly individuals and veteran patients who require specialized care and support.

In recent years, Dr. Doan has devoted much of his time to working with Vet 21 Industry, an organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for the veteran community. He is deeply passionate about ensuring that those who have served the nation receive the care, resources, and assistance they deserve. The mission of Vet 21 Industry strongly aligns with Dr. Doan’s personal values of service, compassion, and community-centered care.

Dr. Doan takes great pride in being part of an organization that prioritizes the well-being, safety, and dignity of veterans while helping them access the full range of benefits and support available to them. Through his work with Vet 21 Industry, he continues to advocate for veterans and their families, helping them connect with vital services and improve their quality of life.

Today, Dr. Huy Doan remains deeply committed to advancing healthcare and strengthening the communities he serves. Whether supporting elderly patients or advocating for veterans in Gwinnett County and the surrounding communities, he continues to pursue his mission with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
