SOSi is currently seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and support our government customer in Huntsville, Alabama. This position will provide robust support to the development, refinement, and integration of technology advancement in the area of and around AI and Machine Learning.

• Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions.
• Proactively retrieves information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds AI tools that automate certain processes.
• Duties typically include creating various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.
• Performs statistical analysis, applied data mining techniques, and builds high quality prediction systems.
• Develops multiple prototype solutions to existing and new data-science problems using machine learning.
• Provides expertise in coding, software tools, and accelerated hardware.
• Provides expertise in machine learning and data science.
• Designs, develops and test Machine learning applications.

• Active in scope DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
• Masters of Science in Computer Science or similar related degree.
• Expertise in Python, GIT, Linux and Docker Containers.
• Expertise in using single and multiple GPU’s for Machine Learning Development.
• Should be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications including Power BI and Tableau.
• Should be skilled in major data science languages such as R and Python.
• Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics.
• Knowledge of classical machine learning API’s (Scikit-Learn, Rapids, etc.) and deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.).

• Currently possess a CI Poly or an ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills.
• Thorough understanding of AGILE methodologies.

• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
