Congressional Medal of Honor Society

The Congressional Medal of Honor Society is the only organization Chartered by Congress to support Recipients. Although the Medal of Honor traces its origins back to 1861 it was not until 1958 that Congress and President Eisenhower chartered a specific organization to address the work and well-being of Recipients.

Veterans on Deck is a nonprofit sailing program serving the military community in and around Charleston, SC. This program is free and open to any active duty or veteran service members, offering several opportunities on a weekly basis to go sailing with fellow members of Armed Forces.
