Available to daughters, wives, sisters, widow, granddaughters of veterans eligible for membership in The American Legion.

Candidates for this award shall be the child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a veteran who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in the American Legion.

The Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club provides merit based scholarships for eligible military family members. The scholarships will be awarded based on these categories: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, job record, volunteer work, community involvement, and a brief essay. All applicants will be considered for the scholarship regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, sex, age, rank of sponsor or financial need.
