Veterans Next Generation Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements
Family: Must be the child of a veteran
Education Level: Must be pursuing an undergraduate or trade school program

Military veterans have selflessly served and risked their lives to protect the United States.

As a result, many veterans now live with disabilities or trauma. Roughly 10-20% of veterans experience PTSD, with rates varying based on service era.

In recognition of all that veterans have done for our country, this scholarship seeks to support the children of U.S. military veterans so they can pursue higher education.

Any student who is the child of a veteran and is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or trade school program may apply for this scholarship.

Rangers Scholarship Fund, Inc.

Since our founding in 2008 the mission of the Rangers Scholarship Fund (RSF) is to award merit-based scholarships and provide educational enrichment opportunities to the Families of currently serving and veteran Rangers of the 75th Ranger Regiment. The RSF’s goal is to support the academic goals of select Ranger family members who exemplify the values and principles of the RSF and their Ranger Sponsors. The RSF awards merit scholarships based on a broad spectrum of values and qualities as best represented by the activities and achievements of the applicant. Undergraduate and Graduate School Merit Scholarships are awarded annually to students pursuing degrees at accredited Colleges, Universities, or Vocational-Technical Institutions.
APPLICATION WINDOW
The Rangers Scholarship Fund Merit Scholarship application window for the 2022-2023 school year opens Thursday, January 6, 2022. The application window closes at midnight on February 3, 2022.
ELIGIBILITY
 Spouse, son, or daughter of a: Fallen Ranger Killed in Action, in Training, or who Died in the Line of Duty, Currently Serving Ranger, or Veteran Ranger of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
 Graduating High School senior, High School graduate, registered undergraduate or graduate student applying for admission to an accredited college/University or for a post-secondary vocational or technical school pursing a degree or certification program.
 Undergraduate sons and daughters must not have reached 26 years of age by August 1, 2023.
 Graduate sons and daughters must not have reached 28 years of age by August 1, 2023.
 There are no age restrictions for spouse undergraduate or graduate student applicants.

Gilman-McCain Scholarship

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship is a congressionally funded initiative of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State and named after the late senator John S. McCain from Arizona.

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. Applicants must be recipients of any type of Title IV federal financial aid during the time of application or provide proof that they will be receiving Title IV federal financial aid during their study abroad program or internship.

The Adecco Group U.S. Foundation Service Scholarship

How Does It Work?

The Adecco Group U.S. Foundation Service Scholarship provides a new pathway of accessibility to a career in technology by giving five part-time scholarships to women veterans and women military spouses. The service scholarship offers financial support through the EdTech company, General Assembly (GA). The scholarships can be used for any part-time course offered though GA.

Submit your application through the form above by May 31, 2021 to be considered. Awardees will be announced July 1.

You must be planning or interested in seeking a full-time job upon completion of the selected GA course.

You must have access to a computer, reliable Wi-Fi, and the appropriate operating systems.

You must be able to start a course as early as July and know that courses may fill up.

You must be able to demonstrate how attending this course will give you a competitive advantage in your job search.

You must complete the online application.

The Bonsai Finance Veteran’s Scholarship

The scholarship celebrates veteran and dependent students who strive for excellence in their lives and provides a one-time payment of $2,500 for current or future education costs.

Ft Knox Spouses and Community Club

The Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club provides merit based scholarships for eligible military family members. The scholarships will be awarded based on these categories: academic achievement, extracurricular activities, job record, volunteer work, community involvement, and a brief essay. All applicants will be considered for the scholarship regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, sex, age, rank of sponsor or financial need.

Ft Hood Area Military Family Member Scholarship Fund

The Fort Hood Area Military Family Member Scholarship Fund The FHAMFMSF was established at Fort Hood in 1985. It is a 501(c)(3) private organization under the supervision of the Garrison Commander. It was designed to be the focal point for all family member scholarship activities on Fort Hood.

Ft Eustis Spouses Club Scholarship

The Spouses’ Club of Fort Eustis provides Scholarships for our military family members allowing them to pursue further education.

Fort Meade OSC Scholarship

The OSC offers scholarships to dependents of military and government personnel associated with Fort Meade, Maryland.

Fort Bliss Spouse Association Scholarship

FBSA Merit Scholarships are awarded to eligible spouses and children of active-duty, retired and Gold Star Families of ALL RANKS in and around the El Paso area as well the spouses and children of GS civilian employees who are members of FBSA that are planning to enroll, or enrolled in a select degree program.

Dover OSC Scholarship

The DSC offers two categories for scholarships: Graduating High School Senior Scholarships and Spouse & Dependent Further Education Scholarships (dependent children under age 23 who are pursuing post-high school vocational and academic education).

Delaware Educational Benefits for Children of Deceased Veterans and Others

Applicant must have been a resident of the state of Delaware for three or more consecutive years prior to the date of application. If the applicant’s parent is a member of the armed forces, the parent must have been a resident of Delaware at the time of death or declaration of missing in action or prisoner of war status.

Dahlgreen OSC Scholarship

Rosemarie arrived in Dahlgren in 1971, she has been an active member of DOSC ever since. Over the years she has served on the Executive Board as President on two occasions. In honour of her service and long standing participation in DOSC, a group of members approached Rosemarie 10 years ago and asked if they could name the Scholarship award in her name. Thus the Rosemarie Blades Honorary Scholarship.The efforts of our wonderful DOSC volunteers, has enabled us to donate thousands of dollars in scholarship awards every year. To date we have donated over $100,000 in scholarship and charity awards.

Corvias Foundation Scholarship for Children of Active-Duty Service Members

Our scholarships for the dependent children of active-duty service members are uniquely empowering because they provide reliable, recurring financial assistance over their four years of study. We also provide them with a support network that is committed to their academic and professional growth. Corvias Scholars have a 90%+ graduation rate within five years of high school graduation. While the cost of college rises, our scholars graduate with none or far less than the national average amount of college loan debt.

Cherry Point OSC Scholarship

The purpose of the Cherry Point OSC Scholarship Program is to acknowledge outstanding military dependents of any rank within the MCAS Cherry Point community by offering financial assistance towards education in any field of their choice. In previous years, the OSC has been honored to provide numerous merit based scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. The number and amount of scholarships awarded is based on funds allocated by the OSC Board through income generated during the OSC year (June 1st through May 31st).

Belvoir OSC Scholarship

Founded in 1951, BSC is a private, non-profit organization providing support to families of service members through friendship, camaraderie, and philanthropic work among the military community. Due to outstanding efforts by hundreds of BSC volunteers, we have been able to raise and pass along to our military community, an unprecedented amount of funds. We have awarded more than $205,000 in scholarships for military spouses and children over the last 22 years.

Children of Enlisted Coast Guard Members

Children of active duty, retired, active reserve Coast Guard member may apply.

Women's Marines Association Scholarship

Award grants to qualified applicants sponsored by the MWA members. The grants may be used at any accredited college, university or college level trade school.

Coast Guard Foundation's United Services Automobile Association (USAA) Reserve Scholarship

Scholarship provides education support to both Reservists and their family members who are pursuing higher eduacation opportunities.

Captain Ernest W. Fox Perpetual Scholarship

The scholarship is intended for qualified active duty Coast Guard, civil service employee personnel or their dependents at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistic Center. The scholarship will be used for prepatory, collegiate, postgraduate, professional and vocational education, formal or informal training which develops the talents and potential of the beneficiary.
