Results driven, senior leader that gained experience across Fortune 100 companies. Started out of university with Owens Corning and earned promotions through various continuous improvement roles. After 8 years at Owens Corning, I took a plant leadership role with Cargill Inc., the largest privately held company in America, which took me into multiple leadership roles and 2 corporate moves (Minneapolis and Atlanta). As of 2015, I\u2019ve been employed by The Coca-Cola Company and lead new product innovation and commercialization programs. Through these product diverse companies and the vast travel to many states and countries, my perspective is extensive, and I\u2019ve gotten to implement large scale improvements in both manufacturing and transactional environments.<\/p>\n
Volunteering<\/p>\n
While not a veteran myself, my family members have served, and my father is a Marine veteran and a Vietnam Purple Heart recipient due to being very badly injured by shrapnel after voluntarily enlisting. My grandfather was in WWII and received a Bronze Star, but sadly, we didn\u2019t know until we found the paperwork after his passing. Because of this, among other reasons, I discovered that veterans are at the core of my heart and that I will do whatever I can to help. After doing some research, I found ACP and immediately signed up to mentor. While I\u2019m on my 3rd \u201cofficial\u201d mentee, I was able to meet with Brian Arrington and help in his transition to the private sector. As Brian was transitioning, he used what he was learning and started Vets2Industry, to which I am currently on the Board of Directors. I couldn\u2019t be happier to be a part of this amazing non-profit of 100\u2019s of volunteers that spread hope and resources to those that have served our country!<\/p>\n
Personal<\/p>\n
I have been married to my best friend, Jen, for over 20 years; we have 2 high school children that are very involved with activities and volunteering. My wife works with at-risk teens and has volunteered on many committees for non-profit organizations. I am happy to see that both kids have learned to give back to society and that they focused on what drives them, inspiring elementary age children to learn. We currently live in the Atlanta area and enjoy kayaking, biking, and hiking on most weekends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
